The Enjoyable Addiction
In this blog, I will share how I started drinking tea, why I drink tea, and what my thoughts are about it.
How I Started Drinking Tea 🍃
The real reason is my dad. He drinks a minimum of 6–7 cups of tea per day. In my childhood, I didn’t drink tea much until I was around 14–15 years old. After that, I started drinking tea 3–4 times a day. How did this start?
The main reason is my mom. She usually prepares tea for my dad, and she always makes a little extra. Since they didn’t want to waste the extra tea, they gave it to me. After a few years, it became a habit, and I started asking my mom for tea myself.
“Every habit has a story, and mine began with a little leftover tea.”
They are the ones who made me get used to tea, but now they scold me to stop drinking too much tea because I drink it many times a day. Nowadays, sometimes they don’t prepare tea for me, but I make it myself and drink it — and I love doing that 😊.
Why I Drink Tea ❤️☕
“Tea may be a drink, but for me, it’s a feeling.”
When I drink tea, I feel a kind of freshness. It feels like the tea tells me:
“You are not alone. I am here for you. Don’t worry, you can do this. Don’t panic — let’s face it together.” 💪☕
“A cup of tea is like a small hug you give to yourself.”
Some people drink litres of tea per day, but I am not that kind of person. I love drinking tea many times a day, but my maximum limit is 150 ml per cup. If possible, I can drink tea 10 times a day 😅.
Some people like combinations like tea + rain 🌧️, tea + music 🎶, tea + snacks 🍪, etc. But for me, just tea is enough.
“Some need moments. I just need tea.”
My Maximum Tea Count 🔢☕
Now I’m 22 years old, and I still haven’t had coffee since then.
“Tastes change, memories stay, but my heart always chose tea.”
🌿 Types of Tea
There are many types of tea in the world — herbal tea, green tea, lemon tea, black tea, and many more, made for health-conscious people. But for me, milk tea is the best. I only love milk tea, and nothing else comes close to that taste for me .
Tea vs Coffee ☕⚔️☕️
Some people behave as if coffee is for “elite” people and tea is for “poor” or “rugged” people. Recently, in a TV debate show, one woman said coffee is for classy people and tea is for rowdy people.
I know my question sounds stupid, but people with such a mindset really think in a low way.
“Your drink doesn’t define your class. Your mindset does.”
Final Thought 🌱
I am also reducing my tea intake from 5–6 cups a day to 2–3 cups, and my aim is to stay at 2 cups per day ☕🙂.
“Enjoy everything. Just don’t let anything control you.”
